The School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape (SAPL) and the City of Calgary unveil the 9 Blocks project. The 9 Blocks project aims to improve the safety around the nine blocks that surround City Hall. SAPL’s participation will allow for experimental, design-based solutions or possibilities to address safety and vibrancy in the area and highlight its urban significance.

Speakers include: Emceee, Thom Mahler, Calgary Mayor, Naheed Nenshi; University of Calgary President, Ed McCauley; Dean, SAPL, John Brown; Calgary Downtown Association representative, Jennifer Rempel, and Rob Williams.
