Mogu PLUMA is a collection of slim wall and ceiling panels manufactured from mycelium-based materials and upcycled textile residues. Designed for interior applications, the panels combine acoustic performance with a bio-based material composition, offering a surface solution that integrates functional and aesthetic qualities.

The panels are produced using Mogu’s proprietary mycelium technology, in which fungal mycelium is employed to bind and transform residual material streams into new products. The resulting material has a lightweight, foam-like structure that contributes to sound absorption while providing a distinctive tactile and visual appearance. The panels are free from volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions and are intended to support healthier interior environments.

PLUMA panels are available in a range of surface textures inspired by natural forms, including patterns reminiscent of reeds, leaves, needles and mycelial structures. The collection has been developed to provide designers and architects with adaptable solutions for a variety of interior settings. In addition to the standard textures, custom surface designs can be incorporated by imprinting bespoke patterns directly into the mycelium-based material during production.

The panels are designed to enhance both acoustic and thermal comfort within interior spaces. Their modular format allows for a wide range of wall and ceiling compositions, enabling flexible application in commercial, hospitality, workplace and residential environments. Installation systems include both screw-fixed and interlocking solutions, allowing the panels to be mounted as wall coverings, suspended ceiling elements or free-standing acoustic compositions.

PLUMA is available in multiple formats, ranging from compact square modules to larger panel sizes, with thicknesses between 20 and 40 mm. The combination of lightweight construction, modularity and customisation possibilities enables the material to be adapted to a wide variety of project requirements.
